Dr. Alfred Hughes is licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Georgia.  His primary practice is located in Athens, Georgia.  Dr. Hughes received his undergraduate degree in psychology from Georgia State University, and his doctorate degree form the California School of Professional Psychology. He completed his pre-doctoral forensic internship at Saint Elizabeth's Hospital in Washington, DC, and his postdoctoral fellowship at Positive Outcomes Psychological Services in Athens, Georgia.  He has over 10 years of experience working with various aspects of family violence. Dr. Hughes conducts child, adolescent, and adult psychological assessments. He provides play therapy for children and psychotherapy for adolescents and adults. Dr. Hughes is presently a member of the Georgia Psychological Association and American Psychological Association.
